Izzy Busy Belly Oh! After taking a break from rugby for a (missing her days with the Rebels/Valkyries!), Izzy decided to jump back into the game this summer. Sadly the Georgia Tech Women’s team was already off for summer, so she joined up with the ’20 selects’ – a ‘motley side’, bringing together players from various teams who were looking to play. And her first official tournament with them was the recent Peach Pitch. They ended up winning the whole thing! In spite of being the youngest player on the team by a good margin Izzy got a lot of good game time, and she had an absolute blast. What a way to kick off her return to the pitch with a women’s team! So great to see her enjoying the game and finding success.
