Another Halloween, another epic celebration at FanDuel! Every year, we employees get to decorate parts of the office, inviting kids and families to tour, trick-or-treat, and marvel at our creations. I’m all about it.
This year, you know me – I had to go full mad scientist! I swear I brought in half the basement (okay, maybe not quite a tenth, but it certainly felt like half!) to construct the ultimate laboratory of delightful horrors and experimental fun. We’re talking beakers, microscopes, telescopes, 3D printers, lasers, drones, submersibles, mysterious concoctions, electronics galore, and – horror of horrors – math equations!
The absolute highlight? Launching rockets down the hall! The kids (and let’s be honest, the adults too) absolutely loved it. Seeing their faces light up was the best part. And, of course, it doesn’t hurt when your creations are a smashing success… because, you know, we got to win! 😉
All in all, it was a fantastically spooky and fun day bringing smiles and a bit of mad science to FanDuel. As I told a few bright young minds, “Ooh, you are very smart, your brain must be very wrinkly. I must measure it; please just lay down on the table for a moment… don’t worry, I won’t feel a thing!“
