My Favorite Shows

Well for all you couch potatoes out there... welcome to my couch. I guess not watching a lot of T.V. is a good thing but there really are some good shows out there that I would like to see more of. But life is a busy thing and there just never seems to be enough time to catch all the shows I want to see. So to help me out since I can't ever watch T.V. on a regular basis I made my own little T.V. Guide here so I can quickly find out which of my favorite shows are on for any given night. Generally when faced between choosing two shows on at the same time I'll choose the one that currently doesn't have any re-runs playing.

Sunday

8:00 FOX
The Simpson's

What can I say they are an American classic. I remember watching them from way back in their early days on the Tracy Ulman Show. They were good then and they've just been getting better.

10:00 ABC
The Practice

I like the way they handle this law show. It's got a new and different format with good acting. In a world of cop shows, lawyer shows, and doctor shows you've got to do something different... they succeeded.

Tuesday

8:00 WB
Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Hey hey, it's Buff_Dog what more can a man say? Did you catch her in Cruel Intentions? Oh yummy. You know it's got to be a fairly decent show, it's got its own dedicated web site! But it's heavy on the graphics so beware.

8:30 FOX
Futurama

Peggy still has big tits! Only one eye, but big tits. I must say I was a little let down by the first show but that's only because I had such great expectations. I really do like it and I'd even watch it if it wasn't on during Buffy, News Radio, and Sports Night. What's wrong with Monday night? Hello?

8:00 NBC
Just Shoot Me

A good family show (yeah right). But hey at least this one is on at a time that doesn't confict with any other shows I want to watch.

9:00 NBC
Will & Grace

Not quite Dharma and Gregg but I like it. This show must have the ultimate smart ass on it. I thought I oculd mock people with sarcasm but I've got nothing on this woman.

9:30 ABC
Sports Night

This show is awesome. I haven't even had the oppurtunity to watch that many episodes but of the ones I've seen: WOW! It's just awesome writing. I really dig how they do it. This show should be picking up some awards, I just don't know what catagory it will be in.

Friday

9:30 ABC
Nash Bridges:

I only ever watched it once (I try not to be home on Friday nights), but I liked it. It's got a decent cast and it's not as flaky as I initially thought it was going to be.

Monday

8:30 NBC
Veronica's Closet

Isn't it silly... Veronica is the thing I like the least about the show. Which by the way is frickin' hilarious. She's (Kirstie) dead weight, cut her lose now, improve my show!

9:00 FOX
Ally McBeal

I take more crap from my friends about liking this show than anything else I can think of. But you know what? Screw 'em. I like it, it's funny, and I'll watch it (if I can). And along a different line why can't all the hungy hungry heffers just leave that poor girl alone? How would you like her to call you fat all over the place? What gives?

Wednesday

8:00 WB
Dawson's Creek

Can high school kids get any older. Sometimes I wonder what they're thinking. But hey it makes for a great show. The only problem is that I don't have the consistency in my viewing habits so it makes it difficult to follow sometimes. This is why we have VCR's.

9:00 ABC
Dharma and Greg

Call me crazy but I'm just a sucker for a sitcom with a hot girl. I sort of dig that dynamic between Greg's casual attitude toward's Dharma's silly antics. Another winner that's on at the same time as another show I like. Ugg!!

Thursday

8:00 NBC
Friends

Really now people if you don't know about this one you are beyond help. Friends is the bomb. And once again I'm about 3 seasons behind on episodes, but that makes for much more enjoyable re-runs.

9:00 NBC
Fraiser

I'm many seasons down on the show as well, but I love it. I wonder how I missed it all this time? Classic television, Definitely in my Top 3.

8:30 FOX
Family Guy

Now here a new show worth watching. Though it does make me a little concerned that FOX is becoming the new Cartoon Network. I guess as long as the cartoons are good, right? Chances are this show will move into a different time slot once it's been around a while.

10:00 NBC
ER

And how better to close out a night of comedy than with a little intense drama. Unless of course you have to go to bed early cause you know that your going to have a long day and night tomarrow.

Monday-Friday

10:00-11:00 MTV
The Loveline: Definitely a cool show. The first one I saw had Fiona Apple curled up on the corner of that couch and wow did she have some groovy answers! So the next day I bought her CD and became a fan of one MTV show.
11:00 ABC
Politically Incorrect: with Bill Maher even. This is the show that Barbra Walters thought she was making. You get people together with totally differnt views (that they may or may not know they have) and let it rip...LIVE! What a concept (and it's not all women).
